Over the past several years we have worked with thousands of farmers and ranchers toward energy conservation and the considerations of alternative and renewable options. To that end, our team is made up of people who care about the community and work at developing a more efficient future for our properties.

Mark Olinyk

President & CEO

Mark is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Harvest Energy Solutions and one of the co-founders. Mark oversees all sales and marketing initiatives, developing Harvest’s operating strategies, and all external advisor relationships. He provides Harvest with a wealth of business & management experience. Prior to Harvest, Mark was the Business Manager and co-owner of VIA Wind Energy. A seasoned entrepreneur, he brings over 30 years of launching, managing, and growing start-ups in the agricultural, manufacturing, distribution and renewable energy industries.In the 1980s, Mark owned and operated one of the three largest privately owned, government grain warehousing facilities in the country.

In 1990’s he launched a new satellite/telecom manufacturing and distribution venture – Eagle Communications. Eagle Communications achieved success primarily through the successful launch of several new products, including large earth-stations and small offset antennas. Mark holds a B.B.A. from Michigan State University and a M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Lucas Olinyk

Vice President of Engineering

Lucas is the Vice President of Engineering for Harvest Energy Solutions. In this capacity, Lucas is responsible for all product R&D, testing, certification, improvement, and re-designs (as needed). He also is responsible for the Company’s installation manuals, engineering sales practices, and system software capabilities. Formerly of FAAC Incorporated, a large commercial and military training simulation company, Lucas has over 5 years of engineering experience. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Hope College and an M.S.M.E. from the University of Michigan.

Wendy Olinyk

VP of Finance & Administration

Wendy is the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Harvest Energy Solutions and one of its co-founders. As VP, Finance & Administration, Wendy is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company including engineering, purchasing, and installations. Prior to her time with Harvest, Wendy was an owner and President of EaglePro Communications, a leading provider of a variety of satellite antenna mounts, strut kits and branded junction boxes to the telecommunications and consumer electronics industries.

With her 20+ years of sales, marketing and operations experience, she has held various executive-level positions including: National Installation Manager at Eagle Communications (This included the responsibility for all facets of installation of over 500 large earth-station antennas), National Sales Manager – MSI Eagle Communications, Vice President – Sales and Marketing – Trump Communications, Senior Account Director – TraverRohrback, Senior Account Executive – The Kellogg Company and Account Executive – Johnson Controls. Wendy studied marketing at Western Michigan University

Robert Miller

Vice President of Operations

Robert is the VP of Operations for Harvest Energy Solutions. Based out of Jackson, MI. Robert is responsible for system design, product identification, purchasing and construction. Robert brings with him over 25 years of manufacturing management experience in stamping, welding, tube bending, machining and tooling. Robert’s objective’s here at Harvest Energy Solutions includes continuous improvement, by eliminating waste, reducing cost while improving safety and productivity. Each of these improvements comes through production teams that focus on exceeding the Customer’s expectations in Quality and Delivery while having fun and fulfilling an important role within the teams goal. In Robert’s down time he is usually on the water somewhere passing time doing what he loves best … fishing, either competitively or just for fun.
